About Me

Kar-On is the Distributed Learning Support Technician at the Centre for Instructional Development at Vancouver Community College. She has experience in the ESL sector as well as community living and social services . She has a diploma in Education (TESOL) from UBC and a Master's in Education Technology (UBC/TEC); her additional qualifications include a Non-Profit Management Certificate (BCIT) and a Business Computing Diploma (Capilano College). She is completing her final course for her BC Provincial Instructor Diploma from VCC. In her free time Kar-On manages several adult ice hockey teams and enjoys photography and traveling.
